Kohl's - You Got Some 'Splainin' To Do!

Matter of fact, don't even bother. This is just maaaaaad ridiculous. And obviously the people in your marketing department don't have the sense God gave a nanny goat.

There were posts today from Curly Nikki and Black Girl With Long Hair about this today:

::::crickets chirping::::

For real? It's like that now? Obviously you have no clue, because wearing an Afro is about the furthest thing from "ghetto" that I can think of. Maybe if this was a rainbow weave or something. Why not call it "disco" or "Afro" wig? That's all you had to do, man. And if there's a wig of long, stringy, greasy hair that looks like it hasn't been washed in 2 weeks, are you gonna call it "Trailer Park Trash" wig?

Why are we still dealing with this ignorance in 2010? It's dang near 2011. What the deuce?

Foolery.

WOW!!! A "ghetto fab wig". That is a MESS! It is sad that we're dealing w/ this mess STILL in 2010. Kohls needs to rectify this IMMEDIATELY.

Serenity told me she read on one of the sites that they said they were going to remove it from the website. SMH. I mean, the fact that it made it up in the first place. Where are the checks and balances?

Yeah, girl. I read about it on Afrobella's page today. And let me just say that the naturalistas have been all up on Kohl's twitter page. All I saw was apologies on their timeline and how they're gonna remove it. I'd like to know which big wig it was that let this idea slide. I mean, what makes them think it's okay?

When I did a Google search I found an Amazon.com link and a few others...everybody needs to remove that crazy thing or the manufacturer needs to be punched in the neck, and then they need to change the name. Ludicrous!

I think for some things, that's all you can do! Just sit there like, "am I really looking at this??"
