Assumptions

In the car, on the way back from lunch, I turned the channel to XM 70s on 7. What can I say - I love old school music.

They were in the middle of this song:



I love this song. Always have. And although some re-makes should be avoided, I think Intro did a good job with it, before Kenny Greene's untimely death:



For the longest time, I never knew who sang the song. I always heard it played on R & B stations, so I just assumed it was some random Black, R & B artist. Later, I learned his name was Bobby Caldwell.

Imagine my surprise when I looked him up this year, and this was him:



Uh. Yeah. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha! That's what I get for assuming!
