In The Spirit of Organization

Why stop with the shoes. Let's get the purses in order, too:

(Ignore the junk in the corner. We're still organizing!)

Set of two purse racks that can be hung over the door, or they can be mounted on the wall. I chose the door, because this is an apartment. If this was a house, I would have mounted on the closet wall.

The price? $9.99 at BedBathandBeyond. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

You're killing me here! This is fantastic! My purses always just end up on any open door knob located throughout my apartment. These are cheap and such a great solution. I'll go ahead and buy them so they'll be ready for you when you get here to organize me :)

I had the doorknob thing going, too. Then it just got to be too much - purses on every doorknob. LOL!

These hooks are cool, they stay in place and hold up to 8 lbs each. I think the set up is more conducive to small to medium sized purses, but as you can see, I have my big ol' clunker purses on there, too.

Ah, I like this idea! I'll be heading out to get some this weekend. And, uh, erra, if you ever want to part with any of those gorgeous bags......

Thanks for the purse idea! I stopped putting mine on the doorknob when MM told me that can cause your doorknob and lock to shift. Read your shoe post too - I keep all mine in those totes.

Tazzee - oh wow, I didn't know that about the door knob. Tell MM thanks for the info! Sometimes I put the purse I'm currently using on the doorknob when I get home from work. I guess I will stop doing that.
