Why, it's not a train coming to run me over. It's the hospital, calling to tell us that Francis House has a bed for Dad.
Finally, some tears of joy!
He will be transported tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. This really is the best thing ever and the best facility available in the city for him. It's not his apartment (home), but it's the next best thing.
And really, that's all I can ask for. You can check Francis House out here.

Yayyyyyy! I love it! So glad to hear that!! Glad to have Dad in a comfortable place!
That place looks great! I'm glad Dad will be somewhere comfortable.
He will definitely have a comfortable place. It's really quiet and peaceful, but it's more like a regular house than a hospital, nursing home, or hospice facility. Everyone there was really nice and apparently whatever Kelly said - along with the screening they did (they came to visit my Dad on Tuesday when we weren't there) - obviously made an impression on them to feel that he needed this bed in front of some others who may have also been referred.
